Crisp Topping

1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup Cold Butter

Mix together the dry ingredients, then cut in the butter like a pie cust. Butter a pie tin, or similar baking dish, then spread the crip topping over a shallow layer of a filling of your choice. Apple, peach, blackberries, or blueberries are good choices. Add a little sugar to the fruit, using your own judgement.

Bake until golden brown, at 375F. The baking time depends on the size of your pan and your filling. Expect 15 to 20 minutes.
