Dutch Baby in a Cast Iron Pan

Pre-heat oven to 425F

Batter:

1/2 C. Flour
1/2 C. Milk
3 TBLS SUGAR
3 Eggs

Mix the flour, eggs, sugar, and milk together in a blender, briefly, until smooth, i.e. 10 to 15 seconds.

Cinnamon Swirl:

1/4 C. Warmed Butter
1/4 C. Sugar
1-1/2 TSP Cinnamon
2 TBLS Molasses

In a separate bowl, mix the warmed butter, sugar, cinnamon, and molasses. Put this soft mixture into a small plastic bag to squish over the batter latter.

Frosting:

1/2 C. Powdered Sugar
Half and Half

In a separate bowl, mix the powdered sugar, and a little half and half, until smooth and slightly runny.

Melt 1/2 C. Butter in a 9" Cast Iron Pan. Pour the batter into the pan. Squish the cinnamon swirl over the batter. Immediately, put the pan into the pre-heated oven.

Bake at 425F for about 25 minutes. The, lower the heat to 350F for 5 minutes. Bake until golden brown.

Squish the frosting over the top of the Dutch Baby when it comes out of the oven and serve.
